Royal Caribbean Ships
Dining
Good food is an important part of any cruise, but it is something that Royal Caribbean pays particular attention to. On all of their ships you will find you are spoilt for choice with endless dining possibilities, ranging from self-service buffet and ice-cream parlours, to speciality restaurants and main dining rooms. Regardless of your cabin type you can choose to dine as formally or informally as you like, although there are two main options to choose from in the evening.Traditional Dining (Fixed Seat Dining)
Traditional Dining is available on all of the ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet and this option means you will have a fixed time in one of the main dining rooms each night. At the time you book your cruise you can choose either the main seating at 6pm* or the second seating at 8.30pm*, as well as requesting your preferred table size of 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10. This time and table size is then reserved for each night of your cruise, and you will have the same people at your table too, depending on the size of table you requested.*Please note that dining times can vary from ship to ship, depending on destination.
My Time Dining
My Time Dining is available on all ships across the fleet and it's a really popular choice with families because it offers greater flexibility. You still dine in one of the main dining rooms, but you won't have a fixed time or table size like you would for the fixed seat dining. When you book your cruise you just need to select the My Time dining option, and then when you arrive on board, just reserve your table at your chosen time, between 6pm* and 9.30pm*. You will need to pre-pay your gratuities by adding them on at the time of booking, as you will have different wait staff each night in the restaurant.*Please note that dining times can vary from ship to ship, depending on destination.
