Entertainment
As with any Princess ship, you choose what to do with your time on board and Star Princess is no exception to this. During the day you can join in with lots of fun activities like quizzes, port talks, enrichment classes and discussions, or simply spend a few hours browsing the duty-free shops, reading your favourite book in the Library, and soaking up the sun around one of the swimming pools. Come evening time the ship comes to life with dancing, music and theatre. If it's a clear night, why not head up on deck to the Movies Under the Stars theatre? This outdoor cinema shows the latest films on a massive movie screen whilst you watch from the comfort of a cushioned lounger, complete with complimentary popcorn. If you prefer something a bit livelier, you'll find cabaret acts, live music and comedy in the Vista Lounge, and nightclub-style music and performances in the Explorers Lounge.Trivia
As one of the Grand-class ships, Star Princess is one of the biggest ships in the fleet. To put her sheer size in to perspective, the ship is as long as 30 double-decker buses end-to-end, weighs as much as 21,000 adult elephants, and is only 10 metres shorter than the Eiffel Tower is tall!Health and Fitness
Leave your cares behind you and spend a few hours relaxing in the Lotus Spa. With a thermal suite, steam room, saunas, and a lap pool, there are plenty of places to help you de-stress. For the ultimate treat, you'll find a wide variety of therapies available in the sea-view treatment rooms, including aromatherapy, hot stone massages and rasul therapies. Directly above the spa is the Sanctuary, a tranquil area that is exclusively for adults only. Here you can enjoy a massage, try a light bite from the healthy menu, or simply lay back and enjoy the peace and quiet. Next to the spa is the gym and fitness centre. The gym has all the latest equipment that you would need to stay in shape, whilst the fitness centre has its own aerobics area where classes like yoga and pilates are held. Up on the very top deck you'll find golf simulators and Princess Links, a putting course where you can improve your golf skills. There are also sports courts for tennis, basketball and volleyball, and traditional deck games like quoits and shuffleboard.Children's Facilities
Star Princess has an impressive selection of facilities and activities for children so it's a great choice for families. There are dedicated children's clubs held throughout the day, with the option of paying extra for group babysitting in the evening until 1am. Young children are usually split in to two age groups between 3 and 7 years old and 8 and 12 years old. There is a large indoor playroom with ball pits and climbing frames, as well as an outdoor play area and a splash pool. Activities really range, with anything from drawing and craft making to interactive games and learning programmes. Teens won't feel left out either as they also have their own area where they can chill out with their new friends. During the day they can take part in sports, watch movies, listen to music or sunbathe out on their own area of the deck, and in the evening there are parties, karaoke nights and movie nights.Facilities

Amalfi Dining Room - Fixed Seating Dining
The Amalfi Dining Room offers fixed seating dining with waiter service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant will usually open for breakfast between 7.30am and 9am, and between 12.15pm and 1.45pm. In the evening dinner is served across three sittings at either 5.30pm, 6pm or 8.15pm, and you will have the same table reserved for the duration of the cruise.Portofino and Capri Dining Rooms - Anytime Dining
The Portofino and Capri Dining Rooms both offer anytime dining with waiter service, and they are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is available between 7am and 9am, and lunch is available between 12pm and 1.45pm. For dinner you simply need to arrive anytime between 6pm and 9.30pm and you will be seated. You can choose to sit at a different table every evening if you want to.Signature Dining
Crown Grill - Speciality Steak and Seafood Restaurant
The Crown Grill was designed to offer the ultimate dining experience, from the select cuts of superb beef and fresh seafood, to the expert preparation of the food that is showcased by the chef's in the open kitchen. The restaurant opens in the evening for dinner and has a cover charge of approx $20 per adult and $12.50 per child.
