Ruby Princess is the newest addition to the fleet, and features all of the luxury and elegance that you would expect to find on a Princess ship. The atmosphere on board is very relaxed and sociable, with lots of great bars, lounges and restaurants to choose from, as well as huge variety of different entertainment held throughout the day and in to the evening.

Entertainment
Life on board generally moves at a relaxed pace, but you certainly won't be short of things to keep you on the go if you choose. With no less than 5 swimming pools and 6 whirlpools, there is certainly plenty of room to laze by the pool with a good book or simply watch the world go by. The ship's library itself is packed with thousands of books, covering a wide range of genres by different authors. The pace picks up in the evening, with plenty of bars and lounges to choose from, many of which have live entertainment and music. In the Princess Theatre you can see the spectacular Vegas-style musicals and shows, whilst Explorers Lounge hosts fantastic live music and cabaret acts.Trivia
The naming ceremony for Ruby Princess had a distinctive ruby-red theme to celebrate Princess Cruises' connection with romantic cruising. The ceremony included a live wedding, a Ruby Red Tie gala, and the ship's godparents Ryan and Trista Sutter from US show 'The Bachelorette', who were celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary.Health and Fitness
Sports enthusiasts will be in their element on board Ruby Princess as there are lots of things to do to keep you active. The gym is fully-equipped with all the very latest fitness equipment and has spectacular sea-views, whilst up on deck there are sports courts, a jogging track, golf simulators and a putting course. There is also a fitness centre where classes are held daily, including aerobics, pilates and spinning. Alternatively, you can pay a visit to the Lotus Spa where you can relax and unwind instead. The spa offers a myriad of treatments from massages and facials to acupuncture and Ionithermie therapies, as well as a steam room and saunas.Children's Facilities
The Princess Funzone has lots of fantastic activities for children aged 3 - 12 years old, as well as the Teen Centre for those aged 13 - 17 years old, both of which are open throughout the day and also in the evening. Younger children can enjoy the huge playroom and join in with a wide variety of activities all tailored to suit their age group, as well as making the most of the outdoor area with its splash pool and whirlpool. In the Teen Centre there are video games, movie nights shown on the massive TV screens, sports tournaments and karaoke nights. There are also several 'parent-free' evenings held throughout the cruise, which gives them the chance to enjoy some of the ships evening entertainment with their friends.Facilities

Botticelli Dining Room - Fixed Seating Dining
The Botticelli Dining Room has fixed seating dining with waiter service and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is usually served between 7.30am and 9am and lunch is available from 12.15pm until 1.45pm. Dinner is served across three sittings at either 5.30pm, 6pm, or 8.15pm, and you will have the same table reserved for you for the duration of the cruise.Da Vinci and Michelangelo Dining Rooms - Anytime Dining
The Da Vinci and the Michelangelo Dining Rooms offer anytime dining with waiter service. They generally open for breakfast between 7am and 9am, whilst lunch is available from 12pm until 2pm. The restaurants open for dinner between 6pm and 9.30pm, so you simply need to arrive between these times and you will be seated. You can also choose to sit at a different table, with different people, each night if you want to.Signature Dining
Sabatini's - Speciality Italian Restaurant
Sabatini's features a delightful range of authentic Italian cuisine, all freshly prepared with a contemporary twist. As well as an array of tempting seafood dishes there is antipasto, fresh salads and, of course, pasta. The restaurant opens for dinner and carries a cover charge of approx $20 per adult and $10 per child. You will need to make an advance reservation here as it is a speciality restaurant.Crown Grill - Speciality Seafood and Steak Restaurant
The Crown Grill Restaurant is designed around a classic steakhouse, featuring premium beef cuts as well as super fresh seafood, including lobster and mussels. The restaurant is open for dinner and there is a cover charge of approx $20 per adult and $12.50 per child to eat here.
