Princess Cruise
Princess Cruises sails to every continent in the world, and cover more ports of call in more destinations than any other cruise line. With the addition of Ruby Princess in 2008 the fleet is now made up of 16 ships, most of which are quite large in size, with the exception of Ocean and Pacific Princess, which are much smaller and offer a more intimate cruising experience.Princess Cruises are well known for their excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and dazzling entertainment. They were the first to introduce a number of cruise ship innovations, including the Movies Under the Stars outdoor cinema and on-board wedding ceremonies and vowel renewals. They are popular with groups of friends and couples of all ages, who enjoy the fantastic dining and entertainment facilities on board, as well as the amazing choice of itineraries that are on offer. Princess Cruises are also a great choice for families, with children of all ages taken care of in the fantastic children's clubs.
Food and Drink
You really will be spoilt for choice with a vast array of restaurants available across all of the Princess Cruises ships. For special occasions there are signature restaurants like Sabatini's Italian Trattoria, the Sterling Steakhouse, and the Crown Grill, or for more casual dining there is the Horizon Court buffet restaurant. All of the ships offer traditional fixed seating dining in the evening, as well as the more flexible anytime dining which is available on all ships except Ocean and Pacific Princess. In addition to these restaurants you will find pizzerias, 24-hour cafes, ice cream parlours, pool-side grills, plus much more, so there is sure to be something to suit every taste.Entertainment
Princess Cruises offer an endless choice of facilities and activities throughout the day and evening. During the day you can join in with pub quizzes and competitions, port talks, fitness classes, and deck games, or just relax by one of the pools or in the adults on Sanctuary. There is also an extensive list of enrichment classes available through the ScholarShip@Sea programme, which gives you the chance to learn new skills and hobbies. In the evening you will be spoilt for choice, with production shows in the theatre, cabaret acts and comedians in the show lounges, and live music and dancing in the many bars. One of the highlights has to be the theme parties and formal nights that are held throughout the cruise. On a typical 7 night sailing there will be one formal night where you can get dressed up in dinner suits and evening dresses, as well as several fun themed nights like Caribbean, Country and Western, and Hawaiian night. These aren't forced upon you though, so if you don't want to attend you don't have to.
Families
Princess Cruises have an exceptional range of activities for children and teenagers so they are an excellent choice for family cruising. The Princess Kids and Teens' Off Limits programme are the dedicated children's clubs, and they are split in to several age groups from 3 - 17 years old. In the FunZone younger children can play in ball pools in the indoor playroom, as well as taking part in a whole host of fun activities like drawing, arts and crafts, treasure hunts, plus movies, cartoons and interactive learning games. Many of the ships also have a play area out on deck and a splash pool.Teens can enjoy doing typical teenage things in the Teen Centre, like playing the latest video games, watching movies and listening to music, as well as being able to take part in sports tournaments, karaoke and talent contests. The clubs are usually open from 9am until around 10pm, although the Teen Centre is usually available until midnight. For children 12 and under there is a group baby-sitting service available from 10pm until 1am, with a charge of approx $5 per child, per hour.
New Innovations
Princess Cruises introduced a number of 'firsts' to the cruise industry and they are always striving to add new and exciting innovations to their ships. In May 2013 their next generation of ship will do just that, with the launch of Royal Princess. At 141,000 tonnes and able to carry some 3,600 passengers, Royal Princess will be the largest ship ever built for the fleet. Of the new features, the SeaWalk is perhaps the most eagerly anticipated. This glass-floored walkway will give the most spectacular sea views as it is suspended 128 feet above the sea and over 20 feet beyond the ship's edge.Princess Cruises Ships

Dining
No matter which Princess ship you are sailing on, you will find a spectacular array of culinary delights awaits you. Whether it's a slice of hand-made Italian pizza for lunch or a mouth-watering cut of prime steak for dinner, there's sure to be something to match your every mood and taste. Dining is generally very relaxed with no set times to eat throughout the day, whilst in the evening you can choose to either dine at a time that suits you or at a fixed time each night.Main Dining (Fixed Seat Dining)
Main Dining (also called Traditional dining) is available across all ships in the Princess fleet. It means you will dine at a fixed time in one of the main dining rooms each night. When you book your cruise we will ask you if you would like the early sitting at 5.30pm*, the first sitting at 6pm or the second sitting at 8.15pm, as well as your preferred table size of 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10. This time and table size will then be reserved for you throughout your cruise, and you will also have the same people at your table.*Please note that the early sitting is not available on Dawn, Ocean, Pacific and Sun Princess.
Anytime Dining
Anytime Dining is available on all ships in the Princess fleet, with the exception of the two smaller ships, Pacific and Ocean Princess. You will still dine in one of the main dining rooms, but you have the flexibility to dine at a time that is convenient for you as there are no fixed dining times. To book the anytime dining you just need to select it at the time of booking, and then once you are on board you can arrive at the selected restaurant anytime between 6pm and 9.30pm. You are also able to choose who you sit with, so if you would like to dine with new people each night then you can do.Check out the latest deals and special offers for Princess Cruises
