EntertainmentLife is never dull on board Arcadia with an huge variety of things to do during the day and in the evening. The promenade deck is perfect for a leisurely stroll or jog, and Caffe Vivo is a great spot to sample some speciality teas and coffees whilst you watch the world go by. Come evening time, The Orchid Bar is a great place for a pre-dinner drink and there's several different venues showcasing live music, comedy and production shows including the Globe and the Crow's Nest lounge. The Rising Sun pub has a great home-from-home feeling thanks to its distinctive British feel and the Electra nightclub is the perfect place to dance the night away.
TriviaWhy not travel about the ship in style in one of the unique glass-fronted lifts? As a signature feature on board Arcadia, these lifts travel up and down the exterior of the ship so there are spectacular sea views as far as the eye can see.
Health & FitnessYou'll find one of the best spas at sea on board Arcadia, so if you're in need of some pampering it's an absolute must. The Oasis Spa not only offers a wide range of the latest treatments and therapies, like reflexology and oxygen facials, but it also has a thermal suite - complete with steam room and heated ceramic loungers - and a hydrotherapy pool so you're guaranteed to feel relaxed and rejuvenated when you leave. Food is just one highlight of life on board Arcadia and there is a fantastic range of formal and informal restaurants to choose from, including the Marco Pierre White's Ocean Grill speciality restaurant and the two-tier Meridian main restaurant.
The Meridian Restaurant - Fixed Seating DiningThe two-tier Meridian Restaurant has fixed seating with waiter service and is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Breakfast is typically available between 7.30am and 9am and lunch is available from 12.15pm until 1.45pm, both with open seating.
Afternoon tea is available between 4pm and 4.45pm and is on a first-come, first-served basis. For dinner there are two fixed dining times of 6.30pm for first sitting and 8.30pm for second sitting, and you will have same table reserved for the duration of your cruise. The Meridian Restaurant - Freedom DiningAs the Meridian Restaurant is spread across two decks, the upper level is used in the evening for the more flexible Freedom Dining option, with waiter service. The restaurant is open between 6.30pm and 9.30pm so you can just arrive at a time to suit you, and you can dine with the same or different people each evening if you prefer. The Ocean Grill - Speciality Al Fresco GrillThe Ocean Grill is a more relaxed restaurant whose menu was created by British celebrity chef Marco Pierre White. You'll find a wide array of delicious meals available, and wine expert Olly Smith has selected a number of fine wines to complement the menu.
The Ocean Grill is open for dinner between 6pm and 9.30pm and there is a cover charge of approx. £17.95 per person to dine here. As it is a speciality restaurant, you will need to book a table in advance which you can either do before you travel via the P&O Cruise Personaliser or once you arrive onboard. East - Speciality Oriental RestaurantEast has a very distinctive oriental feel to it thanks to the huge floor to ceiling windows and the light and airy atmosphere, but it is actually influenced by various different countries including Thailand, Indonesia Malaysia and Vietnam. On the menu you will find a great selection of classic dishes including Thai Fishcakes, Spiced Sea Bream and Lamb Rendang, all designed with the help of Michelin-star chef Atul Kochhar.
The restaurant is available for dinner between 6.30pm and 10pm, and there is a cover charge of approx £15 per person as it is a speciality restaurant. You will also need to book a table in advance to dine here, which you can do via the P&O Cruise Personaliser or once you arrive onboard. A sample of the menu can be found here.
The Belvedere Restaurant - Self-service BuffetThis casual dining restaurant is a very popular alternative to the more formal main dining room, especially as it is open almost 24 hours a day! Not only does the restaurant provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, but you can also enjoy brunch, afternoon snacks and late night snacks right up until 6am. Within the restaurant there are various food stations, serving a selection of hot and cold food, including cereal, sandwiches, soup, curry, pasta and salads, and many meals can be made to your specific requirements.
For dinner on selected nights there will be a set theme such as Chinese or Italian and waiter service will be available as well as the self-service buffet. The restaurant also has tea, coffee and water machines which are available all day for you to help yourself to.
Neptunes Grill - Casual Pool-side DiningOpen from 11am until 6.30pm, this casual eatery is the perfect place to grab lunch or an afternoon snack without having to venture in to one of the main restaurants. Serving a variety of meals from salads to burgers, it's right by the pool so there's no set seating and you won't lose your spot by the pool.
Cafe Vivo - Coffee ShopFound on the Promenade deck, Cafe Vivo is a great place to while away a spare hour or two. It serves a wide variety of tea and speciality coffee as well as delicious cakes, pastries and other snacks from 8am until 11pm.
